Buildcorp’s landmark ‘Bridgeview’ project at 48 Upper Pitt Street has been recognised with a 2019 Master Builder’s Association Award for ‘Home Unit Renovation- External’.

The $10.5m Kirribilli residential upgrade, our third in the area, was undertaken by Buildcorp’s Asset Solutions team in a 52 week program to deliver their most comprehensive and transformative UPLIFT project to date.

The team solved a variety of challenges for the development, built in the 1960s, in a scope of works that included: new balconies, sliding doors and windows, compliant over clad of the existing façade, fire services upgrade, new mechanical infrastructure and remedial works such as concrete spalling repairs and waterproofing. The program managed the live environment so that the apartments could remain occupied for the duration and the neighbouring high school HSC exams weren’t disrupted.

What is UPLIFT?
Buildcorp’s UPLIFT concept gives owners of ageing buildings the option to invest beyond essential and remedial works to solve safety and compliance issues like fire orders, waterproofing and façade/structural issues. We provide additional UPLIFT investment options to transform the building and increase the value of the property through modernisation of the façade, windows, balconies, services and more.

The UPLIFT process can help owners turn a remedial expense into an value investment opportunity that achieves a more significant return. Crucially, owners can also save substantially on construction costs by undertaking it all at the same time.
