Buildcorp has successfully completed Ardent Leisure’s largest ever Kingpin venture and Darwin’s largest new centre for entertainment. The flagship Kingpin Darwin centre spans 3,800m² and opened its doors in August 2015.

Ardent Leisure is one of Australia’s leading entertainment and leisure groups and the project involved the construction and fit-out of 22 bowling lanes, a 400m2 laser skirmish area, a karaoke room, individual party rooms, an elevated Sky Trail ropes climbing course and a 70-game amusement arcade. Complementing the enormous range of activity space is an all-day food menu, café and bar.

Buildcorp was awarded the project following the success of the award-winning Townsville Kingpin centre which was also the project that launched the Buildcorp business in the Queensland market in 2011. Kingpin Darwin was completed on time and to program due to the meticulous planning and detailed programming which helped to manage construction and design challenges.

The Buildcorp project team worked closely with local Darwin trades and suppliers and integrated their efforts with existing Buildcorp subcontractor relationships in Queensland whose experience with similar projects for the same client ensured the end result was to the highest quality.

This project is testament to the Buildcorp commitment to quality, safety and the collaborative effort that is found at the heart of the Buildcorp culture across Australia.

Buildcorp has successfully delivered a number of leisure and hospitality projects including the Fat Noodle at Treasury Casino, Kingpin Townsville, The Kingscliff Beach Hotel and Event Cinemas at Toombul, Chermside and Indooroopilly.
