As Buildcorp celebrates 25 years in business, community and rugby in 2015, our Melbourne office is entering its third financial year of operation in Victoria with a strong pipeline of refurbishment and fit-out projects.
Since opening their doors in 2013, the Buildcorp Victoria team has delivered over $60million of projects across a diverse range of sectors including commercial refurbishment, workplace fit-out, government, retail, hospitality and education. The team now consists of five project delivery teams, supported by senior management and administrative staff.
This last financial year was one of our strongest performances yet, and highlights include:
- COMMERCIAL: Fit-out of REA Group’s (realestate.com.au) new office at Church Street, Richmond was completed in October 2014 (see main image above). The dynamic online business has embraced the new agile workspace which boasts 700+ workstations, 14 free-standing meeting rooms, staff ‘hub’, end of trip facilities, training rooms, band / games room and innovation hub; all of which are supported by state of the art technology. - RETAIL: Buildcorp’s strong retail experience was put to use on a significant upgrade for AMP at Collins Place and the refurbishment of the Galleria at 385 Bourke St for DEXUS. We are now commencing works on an exciting new fit-out for a large international retailer at Eastland Shopping Centre, Ringwood. READ MORE
- TERTIARY EDUCATION: We’ve completed three tertiary education projects over the last 12 months for Victoria and Monash Universities. More recently, we were awarded a Construction Management project for Monash College Learning Village at the Clayton Campus, which involves the modular construction of six new double-story buildings. - HOTELS: The Doubletree by Hilton on Melbourne’s Flinders Street (formerly Citigate Hotel) underwent a transformation in November 2014 with a significant refurbishment of 180 guest rooms across 13 floors. What’s more, we used our expertise in live construction environments to deliver this project in just 22 weeks while the hotel was still operational. READ MORE
