Collins Street in the heart of the Melbourne CBD is undergoing a major facelift and Buildcorp’s Victorian team is at the forefront having been selected for three large projects on the iconic strip, including the landmark DEXUS podium redevelopment at 360 Collins Street. This project adds to Buildcorp’s current Collins St portfolio of work which already includes the fit-out of top tier legal firm offices at 333 and the provision of design management services for the planned foyer upgrade works at 367.
The cutting edge Bates Smart design for 360 Collins Street will transform the building’s 5,000m2 podium which spans two levels and services 35 floors of commercial office staff. The new facility encourages a collaborative environment with additions that will improve lifestyle benefits including flexible meeting pods, upgraded amenities, end of trip facilities and a new retail offering in the north facing plaza on Little Collins Street.
This project is part of a wider refurbishment and extension program and the 35 storey building will maintain a high level of tenancy occupancy while the refurbishment works are underway.
The project commenced in April 2016, which is testament to the DEXUS Group’s continuing investment in their key assets after recently launching DEXUS Place at 385 Bourke Street in December 2015.
