JANUARY 2016: Jupiters Gold Coast has swung open the doors to its freshest new restaurant, Garden Kitchen & Bar. This botanical-themed restaurant is the sixth project Buildcorp has delivered for valued client The Star Entertainment Group (formerly Echo Entertainment).

Anchored in a lush garden setting, the Garden Kitchen & Bar is located in the position previously occupied by The PA Pub. As part of the works, a side of the building was removed to create an open, indoor/outdoor space, which also doubled the size of restaurant’s footprint.

Buildcorp managed the construction and fit-out of the facility and careful consideration was given to the staging of the build program to ensure the impact on Jupiters’ hotel operations was kept to an absolute minimum, particularly during the evenings. Initiatives to achieve this included building the structure of the restaurant during the day and enclosing the premises early in the process to ensure noise from continuing works was easily managed.

The restaurant features an impressive and modern open plan fit-out, complete with a generous dining and bar area bathed in natural light, an open kitchen equipped with Chef’s Rotisserie, cascading feature greenery and a spacious outdoor deck overlooking lush tropical gardens.

Floor to ceiling windows and doors blur the lines between indoors and out, while the outdoor deck, conservatory and expansive lawn area aim to create a truly unique dining experience any time of the day.

The Star Entertainment Group Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said Garden Kitchen & Bar draws inspiration from the surrounding natural elements to celebrate the City’s vibrant atmosphere.

“Garden Kitchen & Bar showcases some of the freshest, seasonal produce and very best in design, incorporating an abundance of light-filled space and elegant simplicity that allows our guests to truly embrace the Gold Coast lifestyle,” said Mr Hogg.

“It’s everything we hoped for and more – you find yourself captivated from the moment you arrive with vibrant live foliage adorning the front entrance feature wall. With a seating capacity of more than 350 the venue is the largest of our new restaurants, employing 110 locals including a variety of chefs, baristas, bartenders and wait staff.
