Beverly Hall, Elizabeth Bay

Buildcorp’s Asset Solutions team were engaged by the owners corporation of ‘Beverly Hall’ to remediate and restore elements of this iconic, heritage listed building on the harbour front of Elizabeth Bay.

The scope of the project team’s work included:

  • Re-waterproofing all external deck areas
  • Retiling the roof structure
  • Reconstructing some parapet walls
  • Façade render repairs and repainting the building

The apartment building remained fully occupied for the duration of the works. The project team successfully managed the difficulties of a live environment through effective communication and coordination with the residents. This resulted in the team adapting the program and sequencing of the works to respond to residents’ needs, minimising disruption and maintaining safe, unhindered access to the building.

A key technical challenge of this project was replacing the roof tiles above the penthouse units to ensure the apartments were watertight. The project team’s exceptional workmanship resulted in the roof remaining leak-free for each day of the project up to final completion of the works.
