367 Collins Street

Mirvac's 367 Collins Street's state-of-the-art End-of-Trip facilities

Buildcorp worked closely with the project team, designer and building owner to transform the lower ground basement into new End-of-Trip facilities. The works were completed under live environment conditions, which required a sensitive approach to the program to ensure minimal disruption to existing tenants and building management. The works included:

  • Installation of new female and male amenities
  • Bike parking and additional storage racks
  • Coordination of new and existing services

Buildcorp identified solutions to the project’s several high-risk challenges including the demolition and refurbishment of the existing building services and building structure, in addition to working to a fast-tracked program. As part of the Buildcorp methodology, the project team provided value engineered options in order to meet Mirvac’s budget and delivery deadline, without comprising design or quality. One of the initiatives saw the existing safe vault transformed into a locker room, which was time efficient and cost-effective solution. The design incorporated female and male locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, drying rooms, DDA facilities, bike repair station, bike parking and storage, and CCTV security monitoring. Key features of the refurbishment also included conveniences such as ironing stations, hair straighteners, washers and dryers, secure digi-lockers and bespoke drying rooms for wet clothing.
