45 Bowman Street, Pyrmont

Landmark building leads the way as one of the first ACP replacement projects

The owners and residents of 45 Bowman St were among the earliest residential tower blocks to proactively initiate full scale removal and replacement of combustible cladding to their building.

Buildcorp worked in partnership with the consulting team appointed by the owners during the early stages of the project. This enabled the identification of a few minor areas of fire safety compliance which needed to be addressed. Finding these issues early on prior to works commencing on site mitigated cost and programme impacts in the design and mobilisation stage.

Retaining the standout colour

To ensure consistency of product, the Buildcorp team carried out quality inspections and audits at the production facility overseas. With the bright yellow facade forming a notable part of the Pyrmont landscape, detailed attention was paid to ensuring the clients quality standards were achieved.
