Gross Anatomy Facility University of Queensland

The Gross Anatomy Facility refurbishment at the University of Queensland consisted of friable asbestos removal to the entire internal space, removal of contaminated roof sheets, replacement of roof sheets, purlins and new roof plumbing, height safety equipment.

Due to a larger amount of friable asbestos than anticipated, the time frame to complete the internal works was reduced to enable the facility had to be ready for students. This was completed on time, however, the roof replacement occurred after the internal works to ensure that lessons could proceed without impact
