Kawana Shoppingworld – Stage 5A Carpark

A new multi-deck carpark comprising three levels of parking & connection to the existing rooftop carpark.

Buildcorp was engaged on the development of a new multi-deck carpark located at the southern end of the Kawana Shoppingworld site. This new carpark comprises three levels of parking (ground, mezzanine and rooftop) with connection (over inner south service road) to the existing rooftop carpark previously constructed in Stage 4.

The project included:

  • 12,300m2 GFA (approximately)
  • 352 car spaces over three levels
  • Vertical transport (pair travelators and single lift)
  • Pedestrian ramp
  • Trafficable bridge over inner south service road linking to existing Stage 4 rooftop car park
  • Southern Mall entry embellishment
  • Car park façade and embellishments
  • Co-ordination of 3200m3 of concrete and 185 tonnes of reinforcing steel
  • Roads, paths and general external amenity upgrade.
