Lion Docklands Refurbishment

After successfully completing Lion's stair removal and infill in 2014, Buildcorp was engaged to give their open plan office a new lease on life.

With Lion’s evolving business requirements and increase in staff numbers, Buildcorp was tasked with finding solutions to complete the refurbishment works in an operational office setting.

This project was delivered over three separate stages with critical works sequenced at the beginning of the programme to allow for the extension of the uninterrupted power supply to the customer service call centre.

Key project features include:

  • Open soffit kitchen and hub area
  • New reception desk and display wall
  • Large training room facilities complete with operable walls
  • Open workspace with new linear and sit-to-stand workstations

The project team carefully planned multiple handovers (14 in total) within each main stage of works, and segregated work zones with acoustic hoarding to provide noise separation.
