In September 2008 Buildcorp was appointed for the refurbishment of 18 of the 27 levels of NAB House concurrently with the ground floor lobby upgrade, basement amenities and base building services upgrade. The project has a 4 Star Green Star (design rating) and set out to achieve a 4 Star NABERS rating design but through tuning and commissioning a 5 Star NABERS Rating has been achieved. The building consists of 40,200m² of NLA over 27 commercial floors, with a GFA of 63,000m². The refurbishment was undertaken with existing tenants remaining in situ which therefore required meticulous programming to stage the works with extensive tenant liaison to establish the extent of temporary works, out of hours works and minimising the impact to the day to day operations of the building. In 2013 Buildcorp was appointed for a base building refurbishment of the building, including amenities upgrade, new lobby finishes, make good and upgrades to the tenancy areas within the building.
