Design, value & stakeholder management delivers another successful Barangaroo workplace

Buildcorp’s long term partner Origin Energy selected our team to deliver their four-floor Agile Based Working space (ABW) at Barangaroo Tower One in a transformation project to consolidate Origin’s existing Australia Square and Bond Street offices. The new workplace fit-out across levels 29-32 included an interconnecting timber clad steel stair through the existing base building void.

Buildcorp’s early design involvement helped to collaboratively develop the design and services with consultants and subcontractors. This process helped to de-risk the project, whilst still achieving the design intent and budget expectations.

Buildcorp’s drew on our previous experience in Barangaroo workplace fit-outs and base building stakeholder engagement to coordinate critical logistics and services constraints. Extensive coordination was required to implement new generator controls and submains running through base building risers.

Our stakeholder management processes also helped to navigate the large number of contractors delivering parallel active fit-outs throughout Tower One and facilitate landlord base building approvals.
