Shangri-La Hotel

Refurbishment

This refurbishment involved the staged delivery of 477 hotel rooms over 25 floors with no more than 8 floors at any time being refurbished whilst maintaining safety and access for staff and guests. At its peak, Buildcorp handed back to the hotel one floor (19 rooms) every four days to enable them to be sold. The Shangri-La Hotel is one of the premium hotel brands worldwide and Sydney’s is one of the city’s finest hotels. With this in mind we have taken all steps required to ensure that through detailed planning and a thorough understanding of the design intent, we have delivered this project successfully.
