The T1-A380 Project is part of the Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (SACL) project known as “New Larger Aircraft” (NLA). This project involves upgrading the existing airport to accommodate the new generation of larger aircraft and the projected increase in passenger numbers. As the project is spread across various areas of Terminal 1, the main emphasis of this project is to minimise disruption to operations. This has numerous ramifications on how the project is managed and implemented from master planning right down to the daily coordination of various stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful project delivery.
