The University of Sydney Sport Centre

Sports and Aquatic Centre

The new sports hall at the Sydney University Sports and Aquatic Centre (SUSAC) includes two internal basketball courts, a dojo, boxing gym, group fitness studio and changerooms constructed in a combination of insitu and precast concrete façade and a steel framed roof. Our engagement with SUSAC was a Lump Sum, Design and Construct contract and included the procurement, management and delivery of the design development.

Buildcorp worked closely with, and helped managed the interaction between, the client (University of Sydney), the end users (Sydney University Sports and Fitness) and design team to ensure that the completed building met the ongoing facility management requirements of the University, while ensuring that the sports facilities met the strict requirements of the Sydney University Sports and Fitness (SUSF).
