Westpac Parramatta Square

A luxurious 8-floor fit-out in Parramatta Square

A pre-construction phase allowed Buildcorp to provide valuable advice on buildability, programme, budget, long lead time materials and goods, and value engineering options, minimising the project risks and ensuring construction outcomes exceeded Westpac’s vision for their new commercial space.

The first tranche of work involved 9,480m2 of NLA over 4 levels with delivery of a customer focused level with specialist amenity offerings, client facing meeting and function rooms, large breakout area, reflection rooms, first aid room, mail room and concierge desk. Levels 28-31 includes workstations, meeting rooms, huddle spaces and co-lab areas, training and quiet rooms, storage lockers, FCR and main breakout kitchen. A rooftop terrace offers two shade structures, landscaping, seating and BBQ area. The MCR was completed once the base building was handed over.

The second tranche of work on Levels 32-35 was similar in scale. An increased UPS, generator and cooling mechanism was included to support the office in the event of power failure. A larger training room, larger mail room, high number of individual video conference rooms and a packet store area was included in the scope.

Buildcorp are supporting Westpac to achieve 6 Star Greenstar Fitout certification, as well as specific performance metrics relating to Westpac’s sustainability commitments.
