WSU Macarthur Clinical School

In response to the needs of a growing number of students currently dividing their time between the School of Medicine, opened at Campbelltown campus in 2008 and the clinical school at Campbelltown Hospital, Western Sydney University (WSU) has decided to undertake the construction of a new Clinical School at the Campbelltown Hospital Campus.

The WSU School of Medicine will use the new Macarthur Clinical School building as a space for teaching students undertaking practical learning within the adjoining Campbelltown Hospital, operated by the NSW Government’s South Western Sydney Local Health District. The new building was designed to provide a dynamic, inspiring and collaborative learning environment that aligned with modern pedagogy concepts.

The new five-storey building will include a library and associated study/quiet rooms, a 153 seat lecture theatre, consultation rooms, simulation labs, CEWD teaching and office spaces and staff offices.
