This October, Buildcorp hosted our 3rd annual Buildcorp VIC Rugby, Sports and Leadership Lunch in the Committee Room by Grossi at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Guests shared in an unforgettable experience of the opportunity to network on the boundary of the MCG.
Over lunch, we were joined by two inspirational leaders in sport for insightful conversations with Josephine Sukkar AM. Chancellor at RMIT University, Peggy O’Neal AO, shared powerful insights on leadership and business, including her career journey as a trailblazer across multiple male-dominated industries, from law to AFL. Following that, Olympic gold medallist and current CEO of the Australian Sports Commission, Kieren Perkins OAM, delved into the intersection between leadership and sport, offering a glimpse into his vision for the future of Australian sport. Additionally, Former Australian Cricket Captain Belinda Clark AO and Wheelchair Rugby Steeler Shae Graham who recently won Bronze at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, shared some fireside chats in the room with Buildcorp COO, Jordan Sukkar.
