Buildcorp QLD Rugby Lunch 2024
This August, Buildcorp hosted our 6th annual Buildcorp Rugby Lunch in Brisbane, bringing together industry colleagues, partners, friends, and rugby greats over lunch at Brisbane’s iconic Calile Hotel.
We were privileged to hear from our guest speakers from rugby and business, starting with an exclusive preview with Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt, who shared his strategy ahead of the Wallabies vs South Africa test match with Nine’s Tim Horan AM.
Josephine Sukkar AM was joined by Catherine Malouf and Marie-Louise Theile, who have been instrumental in the placemaking and revitalisation of the James Street precinct and Calile Hotel in Brisbane into the architecturally stunning community hub that it is today.
It was also an honour to hear from Brett Robinson, CEO of RetireAustralia and Executive Board and Council Member of World Rugby, about his leadership journey in international rugby, including his vision to contemporise rugby on a global level and elevate Australia’s presence.
