Community support and participation is at the core of our culture at Buildcorp, and our people regularly give their time, talent, dollars and influence to make a difference in the community. The following is a sampling of the community events and projects the Buildcorp family is proud to be involved with.
The Buildcorp community has never shied away from its responsibility to be more than just a business, consistently involved in charitable events, great causes or things our people are passionate about. In 2012 we asked ourselves how could we do the same but have a greater impact? How could we create a situation where 1 + 1 could equal 3?
The answer came in the creation the Buildcorp Foundation. This is a charitable structure through which the extended Buildcorp family supports our community.
Today, the Foundation is a purpose built independent charitable structure with full DGR status and 0% running costs. We partner with government and business to jointly fund large initiatives. To boost the impact of our partnerships we fundraise, donate and run a workplace-giving program, where Buildcorp matches staff contributions dollar-for-dollar.
Since 2012 the Foundation has been fundraising for mental health and suicide prevention initiatives to help address our industry’s biggest issues.

Raising funds & awareness, together.
Buildcorp’s site teams will jump at the chance to give back through regular site BBQs, raffles and information sessions to raise awareness and funds for mental health and other causes important to our industry.
Along with multiple BBQs raising money for the Buildcorp Foundation, other recent events include a joint BBQ with client Realestate.com.au (REA) to raise funds for the Country Fire Authority in Victoria, a BBQ and talk to raise awareness around Domestic Violence and local youth charities.

Industry partners tackle youth homelessness.
Buildcorp has been a proud supporter of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) Charity Regatta since 2017. Each year we join forces with our project partners and clients to sail across Sydney Harbour to help raise funds to end youth homelessness through the PIF House Program.
With 44,000 young people each night experiencing homelessness and 1 in 3 turned away from a service due to capacity, our collective work is not yet done and PIF have a target to achieve 300 bedrooms by 2025.
In March 2024, the Property Industry Foundation will be celebrating an incredible milestone of 25 years of sailing for homeless youth, and we look forward to being a part of this special event.

On your bike for children’s cancer research.
Buildcorp’s cyclists are a passionate bunch and in recent years have participated in the 12-hour circuit of the Children’s Cancer Institute’s ‘Endure for a Cure’. Alongside teammates of clients and project partners, a core group of Buildcorpers take their bikes to Eastern Creek for the event and each time set out to raise over $10,000 for childhood cancer research.
