A Milestone for Inclusivity | McCall Community Hub

Last week, Buildcorp was honoured to join the McCall Gardens Community, project partners, and residents to celebrate the topping out of the new McCall Community Hub in Box Hill.

 

The ceremony marked the completion of the building’s structure, a significant step towards delivering a vibrant, inclusive space that will provide high-quality, personalised services for people with disabilities and the wider community for generations to come.

 

We were privileged to be joined by Deputy Mayor Councillor Frank De Masi, Dan Reeve, Belinda Colombrita, McCall residents, and many valued partners including MostynCopper, Plus Architecture, Tonkin, JN, EMM and Durie Designs. Together, we marked this milestone with the traditional placement of a tree atop the structure, a symbol of growth, renewal, and lasting legacy.

 

Due for completion in April 2026, the Hub will feature a new Disability Support Centre, indoor swimming pool, and McCall Foundation head office, alongside the heritage-listed Box Hill House, Nelson House, and Ross House.
