A new bar for staff and clients was at the centre of an office fit-out for the global beverage company in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Inspired by Lion’s Sydney branch, also completed by Buildcorp, the Camberwell office fit-out was built to provide a consistent working environment and amenities for staff and clients.

Having previously partnered with Lion and Property Beyond on three other projects, the project began as an early contractor involvement (ECI) where Buildcorp assisted in the development of the budget schedule.

This schedule addressed buildability and value management solutions to ensure the project was completed within Lion’s budget. In order to support the office’s mechanical requirements, a new condenser unit was positioned onto the roof with the use of a 60 tonne mobile crane.

High risk works were coordinated with neighbouring businesses and residences, and completed over a weekend.

Features include an open office workspace with height adjustable workstations, meeting rooms and breakout areas, staff kitchen, and new bar complete with bespoke features, fittings, storage, and refrigerated display cabinets.

This project achieved defect-free upon practical completion.
