Toyota Corporate Headquarters Port Melbourne

Buildcorp reimagined Toyota’s Corporate Headquarters at Port Melbourne in a comprehensive job that presented numerous logistical challenges, all of which were overcome.

Buildcorp completed the 10,000m2 fit-out and refurbishment of Toyota’s offices in preparation for the relocation of staff and launch of their new business at Port Melbourne.

The project comprised four major elements and 10 stages, taking 98,000 delivery hours.

It was crucial each element was scheduled in line with staff relocations and delivered on time.

Works were performed within an occupied building, requiring Buildcorp to carefully stage the project and complete noisy works out of business hours to mitigate business disruption.

Toyota’s new offices span three levels and includes the following:

• New workstations and breakout areas supporting agile work
• Collaboration zones, meeting rooms, lockers and kitchen facilities
• Improved front of house reception area with an atrium, bringing More light and wellness into the building
• Upgraded auditorium, cafeteria, executive lounge and end of trip facilities
• New carpark to accommodate additional staff
