Origin Energy Brisbane

With over 4.3 million customer accounts, Origin Energy is Australia’s largest energy retailer. In early 2018, the company sought to consolidate its operations from multiple existing tenancies into one location across eight floors (levels 24-31) at 180 Ann Street, Brisbane.

Buildcorp was initially engaged for the early works package, including slab demolition for stair penetrations, services modifications and structural work.

Once complete, Buildcorp was award the main works package and progressed to provide multiple internal staircases, a stoop for town hall functions, high-end joinery, new finishes, curved walls, glazing, major services modifications, a main comms room, and the Brisbane City Critical Control Room.

The project included three critical rooms essential to the business’s daily operations. Buildcorp worked closely with Origin’s IT department to ensure all project requirements were met within the specified timeframes.
