Buildcorp is delighted to be appointed on two significant projects within the new Tech Central Sydney precinct.
We have been partnering with ISPT and John Wardle Architects for several months to evaluate and de-risk the transformation of 477 on Pitt, a 32-storey commercial tower. Works are now underway to reposition the public domain areas, enhance services and sustainability performance and upgrade the façade with a new rain screen cladding to the existing precast cladding. The heritage listed Australian Gaslight building, originally a showroom for new gas appliances, is to be repurposed as an event zone for the building’s vibrant tech community.
In addition to this, we have been appointed by Property & Development NSW to deliver the fit-out for the Tech Central Scaleup Hub to be operated by Stone & Chalk at 477 on Pitt. Designed by Bates Smart, the 8,000sqm Hub will serve as the gateway to Tech Central, Sydney’s largest innovation precinct housing some of Australia’s most exciting startups, scaleups and innovators. Residents of the Scaleup Hub will be able to access flexible work suites for 10+ people, event spaces, business support services, shared facilities and a range of unique collaborative spaces.
Buildcorp’s vast experience in complex building refurbishments, façade upgrades and premium technology workplace fit-out will ensure a high quality outcome and a collaborative experience.
We are thrilled to be involved in this new and vibrant direction for Sydney’s future. Watch this space!
