Global E-Commerce Client Brisbane Head Office

Following the successful completion of an earlier fit-out at 300 George Street, Brisbane’s newest commercial and residential tower, Buildcorp was engaged to complete an additional three floors to accommodate the client’s new corporate head office. 

The project’s success hinged on Buildcorp’s ability to work within the requirements of this new commercial tower, ensuring quality and timely handover of key building areas without disrupting other works or tenants. 

Lighting was used to define the hierarchy of spaces, featuring a mix of team and individual spaces with diverse settings for gathering, collaboration, and concentration. 

The project incorporated various finishes and technical equipment from across Australia and overseas, with lead times managed and tracked to ensure timely delivery within the fast-paced construction schedule. 

A key design feature was a tiered stadium area, fabricated off-site and requiring disassembly and transport for installation. The structure’s installation necessitated significant slab reinforcement to support the additional weight. 

Recognising that success in a construction management procurement model relies on openness and transparency, Buildcorp maintained an open-book approach throughout the process while leveraging the extensive preconstruction, design, and workplace delivery expertise of the project team to ensure successful design and delivery.
