Soul Patts

During ECI, Buildcorp undertook site investigations, due diligence, cost planning, design development and authority approvals to understand existing conditions, mitigate delivery risks and establish a clear pathway into construction. The project then transitioned to a Design & Construct contract, providing continuity and greater certainty through delivery. 

Soul Patts is one of Australia’s oldest listed companies, with a long history and established identity. Its new workplace was an opportunity to create an environment that respects this heritage while supporting the way the organisation works today and into the future. 

Spanning 1,996sqm on Level 8, the fitout combines sophisticated design with practical workplace functionality. Key features include premium finishes, bespoke joinery, high-performing meeting rooms and specialised acoustic solutions surrounding the central atrium, together with breakout areas, workstations, a communications room and end-of-trip facilities. 

The project was delivered within a newly refurbished base building and active commercial environment. Careful coordination, proactive procurement of long lead-time items and collaborative decision-making helped maintain programme certainty and protect the design intent. 

The completed workplace reflects Soul Patts’ brand and culture while creating a high-quality experience for employees and visitors.
