Buildcorp QLD Rugby, Sports and Leadership Lunch 2025
This July, Buildcorp hosted our 7th Annual QLD Rugby, Sports and Leadership Lunch at The Calile Hotel in Brisbane, kicking of the first Buildcorp Rugby Lunch of the season.
In celebration of the British & Irish Lions Tour and 25 years of Buildcorp Rugby Lunches, we were privileged to be joined by an exceptional line-up of guests from the world of rugby and sport, who shared stories, insights and reflections with our Brisbane community.
Former Wallaby Tim Horan AM led an engaging discussion with English rugby great Mike Tindall MBE, QLD Reds Head Coach and 2026 Wallabies Head Coach Les Kiss, and Irish rugby legend Ronan O’Gara, as they reflected on past Lions Tours and their perspectives on international rugby.
We were also honoured to welcome Olympic Equestrian Zara Tindall MBE OLY for a thought-provoking conversation with Buildcorp Principal, Josephine Sukkar AM, exploring how Zara’s equestrian journey has shaped her as a public figure and leader.
Finally, we hosted our very own ‘Eras Tour’, looking back through the three previous British & Irish Lions tours in Australia, moderated by Former Wallaby Justin Harrison and featuring 3 Former Wallabies: Dan Crowley, Daniel Herbert and James Horwill.
Thank you to our Brisbane community who joined us for this memorable event. We look forward to continuing the celebrations at our lunches in Melbourne and Sydney in the coming weeks.
