Earlier in the week, Buildcorp was proud to join Loreto Normanhurst, key project partners, faculty, and students to celebrate the beginning of the new Boarding School project with a traditional sod turning ceremony.
The new purpose-built Boarding School will deliver increased student accommodation for over 200 students with a variety of room configurations, flexible common spaces, updated accommodation for boarding staff, and will reflect the school’s vision to create a modern, accessible, and ecologically sustainable home for boarding students. The new state-of-the-art Boarding School has been designed with the needs of current and future Loreto Normanhurst boarders in mind, whilst also enhancing the experience for day students and the community through carefully considered communal spaces.
With site mobilisation set to take place in July, we are looking forward to ensuring the site is a place of learning and opportunity from day one of the build as we bring students on the journey with informational site walks, industry experience events and presentations from project leaders and key consultants. In partnership with Loreto Normanhurst, we will continue to empower young women to see beyond stereotypes and seize their potential in a field where gender equality is not just a goal, but a reality in the making.
We look forward to collaborating with our project partners throughout construction: Carmichael Tompkins Property Group (CTPG), AJC, Urbis, Birzulis Associates, TTW, Ethos Urban, CONTEXT
