Buildcorp has proudly been recognised as a benchmark partner by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) who has profiled our proactive safety system in an industry case study film.
The film promotes the FSC’s WHS accreditation scheme, and highlights our data-focused systems and proactive safety culture in interviews with our HSEQ Manager David O’Toole and Managing Director Tony Sukkar AM.
Buildcorp’s proactive safety system goes beyond the industry standard Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) measurement to use lead safety indicators to highlight where focus is needed before an incident occurs.
The proactive lead indicators are continually informed by Buildcorp’s safety data and the system is supported by our proactive site culture and safety engagement initiatives.
The system has been evolving since 2017 and has resulted in a significant drop in Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR), as well as generating over 600 proactive safety initiatives, some of which are now standard on all sites.
Buildcorp has been accredited by the FSC since 2009 and our safety system has also received awards from Master Builders Association (MBA), Property Council of Australia and icare NSW.
