Building upon our extensive experience delivering new build developments within live and operational precincts, we were proud to be Frasers Property Australia’s chosen partner to deliver the main works phase of this significant piece of infrastructure.
ECQ Outlet has added a new dimension to the well‑established Eastern Creek Quarter precinct and features up to 100 brands in a large‑scale outlet retail concept, with brands offering a minimum of 70% of stock discounted from ordinary retail or recommended retail prices. As Western Sydney’s first outlet retail destination and only the fourth in NSW, ECQ Outlet comprises approximately 20,000 sqm of gross lettable area within around 30,000 sqm of gross floor area. An outdoor entertainment precinct connecting the three stages has become the new social heart of ECQ, featuring community spaces, family amenities, complementary food and beverage offers, and entertainment uses. The food and beverage offering integrates with and extends the ECQ Social precinct, catering to customers of all ages.
A project of significant scale, the works involved the placement of 7,000 cubic metres of concrete, and the achievement of 20,000 sqm of burnished internal retail flooring. Some 650 tonnes of structural steel were erected, and 19 large‑scale HVAC units were installed onto the roof via a carefully coordinated helicopter lift in a single day. Critically, all works were delivered with no impact to the ongoing operations of the existing ECQ centre, a testament to our ability to manage complex interfaces within live environments.
During construction, the development provided approximately 500 jobs, with a strong focus on engaging local subcontractors and suppliers and delivering an economic boost to the Western Sydney community. Practical completion and the launch of ECQ Outlet were achieved in Q1 2026.
Completed in Q1 2026, ECQ Outlet delivers 100 outlet tenancies, an outdoor entertainment precinct with community spaces and new family amenities, complementary food and beverage offers and 1,100 car spaces. Featuring approximately 20,000 sqm of gross lettable area on around 30,000 sqm of gross floor area.
