Buildcorp partnered closely with Loreto Normanhurst, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the delivery of the new Boarding House, helping shape and deliver a facility that meets the needs of current and future generations of boarders while maintaining operational continuity across the school during construction.
Located on Mount Pleasant Avenue, the purpose-built Boarding House provides accommodation for more than 200 students across a variety of room configurations, alongside flexible common spaces and updated accommodation for boarding staff. Designed to reflect the school’s vision for a modern, accessible and environmentally sustainable boarding environment, the four-level facility cascades down the site beside the gymnasium and enjoys views across the oval.
The state-of-the-art Boarding House enhances the experience of both boarding and day students through thoughtfully designed communal spaces that encourage connection, wellbeing and a strong sense of community, while supporting the school’s long-term growth and educational objectives.
Services & Sectors
New build construction of a state-of-the-art Boarding House spanning four levels providing an additional 216 beds for boarding students with a variety of room configurations including six bed dorms for younger boarders, as well as two bed and single bed rooms for senior students. It also includes common and communal areas, including a lounge, shared dining/study spaces, BBQ terrace, cafeteria and cooking facilities.
