ACP recladding was completed across three buildings within the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital campus, delivering compliant façade upgrades in a sensitive live environment with minimal disruption to critical research and patient care.
Buildcorp was engaged to undertake recladding of selected combustible ACP to various parts of the Bancroft, Central and CBRBC Buildings, including link bridges, courtyard and external façade, at the QIMR site at Herston.
Works included cladding design and construction that considered the existing structure, ensuring it could adequately support the proposed new loads and that the structural design complied with the Building Code of Australia prior to the initiation of any building works.
