Scape Darling House

Scape Darling House was the first of two Urbanest towers delivered by Buildcorp as part of the Darling Harbour Live redevelopment and was designed in accordance with 4 Star Green Star principles. Following completion, the towers were sold by Urbanest to student accommodation providers Scape.

Surrounded by the light rail corridor to one side and the bustling Darling Harbour Live precinct to another, the project required strict adherence to detailed methodologies and requirements of statutory authorities, the light rail authority and the local community, adding a layer of logistical complexities to the already constrained site.

Scape Darling House is the ultimate testament to the power of teamwork and collaborative relationships between all project parties. The site’s unique access constraints and position in the community required Buildcorp’s team to develop solutions that enabled safe construction activities. The team developed acceleration techniques and unique solutions to ensure Scape was open for business as planned.
