Norwest’s latest next generation workplace: The Bond is a state-of-the-art commercial building featuring an engineered Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glulam timber structure with high performance glass façade spanning seven storeys and a three level basement car park.

Carved from robust engineered timber and clad in high-performance glass, this state-of-the-art building represents the future of office design, with seven storeys of mass timber glulam frame supporting Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) floor and roof panels.

Delivered on a greenfield site in Bella Vista, Buildcorp’s expertise in delivering mass timber structures informed the procurement, logistics and sequencing solution for The Bond, ensuring on time completion. Due to the adverse weather conditions experienced during delivery, Buildcorp’s project team stored the pre-fabricated structural timber at an off site holding yard out of the weather to effectively mitigate risk.

Features of the development include:

  • Levels 1 and 2 provisioned for Class 9A medical tenancies
  • Two oncology bunkers on basement level B2
  • 110 place childcare centre on level 1
  • Three level basement car park with spaces for 319 cars

Buildcorp’s specialist team provided construction advice for a range of prospective tenants including healthcare, childcare and hospitality. As a result of Buildcorp’s integrated fit-out expertise, client Mulpha secured several landmark health tenants. The team worked with tenants to achieve their interior design intent whilst maintaining building function and compliance. As part of Buildcorp’s scope, we also completed high end and bespoke fit-outs for tenants including GenisisCare and an IVF clinic.
