Buildcorp has been awarded for our MinterEllison workplace project and reached a milestone 100 Master Builders Awards after success at the 2021 Master Builders Victoria ‘Excellence in Construction’ Awards.
The winning workplace project is our second project for valued partner MinterEllison and is befitting the honour of Buildcorp’s 100th MBA Award. The team set this winning goal from the outset and displayed an inspirational photo of one of our previous award-winning projects in the site office.
The new workplace spans 10,700m2 over five and a half floors and was delivered concurrently with the base builder’s works on the new Collins Arch building. The project challenges included a tight delivery timeframe, working throughout two lockdowns and supply chain impacts. The standout helix staircase spans six floors and was installed on site by splicing together 50 structural stringer pieces with 120 balustrade pieces.
Buildcorp’s State Manager, Construction, Jason Folino said “We are honoured that this exceptional legal workplace for a valued repeat client has been recognised for its innovation and excellence.”
Buildcorp’s Managing Director, Tony Sukkar AM said “Buildcorp’s first MBA Award was in 1991 for our first project ‘Citadel Towers’ in Chatswood. Since then, we received further recognition each year as we widened our areas of expertise across the eastern seaboard. Workplace transformations have been an integral part of this experience for over three decades and our teams use our industry leading systems to safely deliver high quality outcomes and a rewarding partnership experience.”
