Occupying a busy junction in the heart of the CBD, the 31 Market St building houses retail tenants, bustling cafes and restaurants, active office tenancies and a busy childcare centre. Coupled with strict restrictions on road usage on the surrounding city roads, this complex live environment is the ideal project to showcase Buildcorp’s industry leading systems and culture to deliver on project outcomes.

Working in close partnership with all stakeholders, Buildcorp’s flexible methodology allowed the childcare centre to remain operational at all times, retail tenancies to experience minimal disruption and office tenancies to function without significant noise impacts.

With works delivered during the peak of 2021 Covid restrictions, Buildcorp’s industry leading approach to safety management ensured works remained on programme throughout and resulted in a number of key outcomes as follows:

  1. Defect free handover of in excess of 2000m² of cladding
  2. Over 16,000 manhours delivering the project LTI free
  3. 96.8% external quality audit score
