A large building housing a number of high profile media and production offices, the cladding replacement works at 8 Central Avenue perfectly highlights Buildcorp’s ACP remediation experience in sensitive live environment locations.

8 Centre Avenue houses a number of 24/7 TV production facilities, therefore early mobilisation works focused on refining methodologies to ensure works could proceed without disrupting ongoing tenant activities.

A sound attenuated site set up was finalised and tested with sound engineers in situ with no disruptive noise recorded. This solution was implemented across all site works with no noise complaints received from affected tenants throughout the project.

With the client recognising the opportunity to update the façade aesthetic, Buildcorp have provided a revitalised façade colour scheme whilst further resolving a number of long running waterproofing challenges on the building resulting in over 7,000m² of cladding replaced with no disruption to tenant activities and no lost time injuries after nearly 35,000 manhours in delivery.
