Buildcorp were engaged to deliver a revitalised 5 storey façade in the heart of Wollongong. With the building housing key Government tenants, expertise in live environment works was a critical factor to successful project delivery.
Buildcorp’s façade and remedial team were initially engaged to undertake thorough investigations to the 8 Station Street building in order to confirm the extent and quantum of cladding replacement works to the building.
As well as confirming a fee proposal to undertake the cladding works, Buildcorp also provided contingency advice on other potential work elements that may be required in order to assist the client in budget preparations. Buildcorp were subsequently engaged to deliver an Uplift solution to replace non-compliant cladding whilst providing a refreshed and updated façade, all delivered under a full turn-key package.

In addition to revitalising the facade, the Buildcorp project team also installed over 1000m2 of waterproofing membrane to the roof and multiple awnings around the building.
This collaborative and open approach has resulted in a very satisfied client team with the Buildcorp team delivering 38,250 working hours in the replacement of 2400m² of façade leaving a revitalised and refreshed asset.
