Supporting Bond University’s existing grandstand, Buildcorp was engaged to Design and Construct the new Rugby Clubhouse

Buildcorp was contracted to design and construct the new Rugby Clubhouse located behind the existing grandstands at the sports precinct. This impressive concrete structure boasts an elevated position overlooking the rugby field, a spacious open area for events, a boardroom, bar, restrooms, lift and a large timber deck that overlooks the rugby playing field and provides access to the existing grandstand area. The cantilevered roof also offers protection to the existing grandstand. Additionally, the bathroom building extension includes four change rooms that can be easily converted into two larger rooms via operable walls, a medical room, officials’ lounge, and an AFL clubhouse complete with a bar and restrooms.

The general scope of works included:

  • Design and construction of suspended slab, elevated rugby clubhouse,
  • Design and construction of an AFL clubhouse,
  • Design and construction of new change rooms adjacent to existing facilities.
