Loreto Normanhurst New Boarding School

Spanning more than 12 months, the ECI phase allowed Buildcorp’s project team to add value early in the process which facilitated a smooth and seamless transition to the construction phase, ultimately enabling the school to maintain operational continuity and ensure curricula, classes and exams are able to progress as planned.

The new purpose-built Boarding School will deliver increased student accommodation for over 200 students with a variety of room configurations, flexible common spaces, updated accommodation for boarding staff and will reflect the school’s vision to create a modern, accessible and ecologically sustainable home for boarding students. The new state-of-the-art Boarding School has been designed with the needs of current and future Loreto Normanhurst boarders in mind, whilst also enhancing the experience for day students and the community through carefully considered communal spaces.

This innovative space will be located on Mount Pleasant Avenue, and will span four levels, cascading down the slope beside the gymnasium. It will have an outlook across the oval and will feature a range of communal areas that will also improve the on campus experience for day students.
