The national XV’s women’s rugby team, the Buildcorp Wallaroos, are on their way to playing on an international stage from October and we couldn’t be prouder.
The squad of 32 players who have been selected to represent Australia have shown immense teamwork and preparedness to get to this position.
Despite disruptions to their 2020 and 2021 seasons, the Buildcorp Wallaroos remained prepared to step up to new opportunities to lead, perform and inspire. Thanks to the ‘behind the scenes’ work, the final outcome will be a gutsy and polished performance that our communities can be proud of.
The team will open their campaign against defending champions New Zealand on October 8 at Eden Park. This will be followed by clashes with Six Nations sides Scotland on October 15 and Wales on October 22 at Okara Park, Whangarei.

Our sponsorships are an investment in the women’s rugby pathway, which has grown stronger each year.
Whilst our sponsorship of women’s Club Rugby began in 2010, our nationwide investment as the Major Sponsor of the Buildcorp Wallaroos in 2016 and the Buildcorp Super W competition in 2018 has helped create a 58% increase in female club rugby registrations.
More recently in 2021, we saw a 28% increase in junior girls Rugby XVs sign-ups. This is one of the most significant outcomes yet from our investment in equal opportunity for women’s rugby.
Trails continue to be blazed to create new pathways for the next generation and the ongoing growth in women’s and girl’s rugby at every level is something every player, past and present should be proud of. We can’t wait to see the results of the impact made this year.
