Following Apt’s acquisition of the project from a smaller developer, Buildcorp was engaged to progress the design to facilitate construction commencement in line with Apt’s timeframes and provide Apt with budget and programme certainty to ultimately realise our client’s vision for the project.
With main works currently underway, the project will deliver a new accommodation hub for Meadowbank, close to the new Meadowbank TAFE, train station and town centre.

In order to meet Apt’s budget, our team worked extensively with the New South Wales subcontractor market to develop optimised solutions for construction. The team’s engagement so early in the design development phase meant the subcontractor market was able to develop options that offered significant savings, whilst honouring the design intent.
Through an intensive six month ECI phase, Buildcorp worked closely with our client Apt to deliver cost savings and buildability advice to progress this landmark Build to Rent development from design to construction whilst also undertaking an initial early works phase on site.
