In partnership with Mulpha, Buildcorp applied a solutions-focused approach to provide a cost-effective pathway to recommence the works for the Swing City golf driving range, a world-class entertainment hub offering state-of-the-art golf technology facilities.

Drawing on existing relationships with Mulpha, Buildcorp was engaged in the construction of this world-class hub, located in the Hills District. With families making up 64% of households in the Hills District, this new facility taps into the growing demand for family-friendly sporting venues, that cater to the whole family.

Tasked with implementing technology that has never been seen before in Australian driving ranges, Buildcorp worked closely with Mulpha and key consultants to fast track a functional design and develop innovative solutions that will cement Swing City as a world class golf destination. These included:

Reorganising the floor plan to optimise the function space and ground floor bar.
Replacing the sub-base to ensure effective drainage within the Australian climate to facilitate the automatic ball retrieval properties of the facility.
Designing a ball extraction solution that doubled as a storm water collection pit.

Set up for success through a robust and collaborative ECI period, Buildcorp successfully implemented the revised pathway to support Mulpha and deliver the highly advanced driving range, 18 hole mini golf course, arcade and corporate function facilities, bringing together sporting excellence and entertainment options to deliver a facility for golfing novices and experts alike.

In an Australian-first, the two storey golf driving range featuring 40 bays is powered with Inrange golf technology; a leading edge, radar-based technology that combines interactive games and virtual courses with pin-point accurate swing monitoring to challenge users golfing experience. The complex caters for a broad range of sporting, leisure, entertainment, and corporate function demand in the area with facilities including:
